Correct spelling of the genus is Coelorinchus. •Valid as Caelorinchus acantholepis Gilbert & Hubbs 1920 -- (Iwamoto 1999:1990 [ref. 24761]). •Valid as Coelorinchus acantholepis Gilbert & Hubbs 1920 -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:137 [ref. 18936], Iwamoto & McCosker 2014:280 [ref. 33298]). Current status: Valid as Coelorinchus acantholepis Gilbert & Hubbs 1920. Macrouridae. Distribution: Western Pacific. Habitat: marine.
