Possibly the same as C. innotabilis -- see Iwamoto et al. 2004:196 [ref. 27643]. •Valid as Caelorinchus karrerae Trunov 1984 -- (Iwamoto et al. 2004:196 [ref. 27643]). •Valid as Coelorinchus karrerae Trunov 1984 -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:166 [ref. 18936], Pakhorukov 2001:378 [ref. 25409]). Current status: Valid as Coelorinchus karrerae Trunov 1984. Macrouridae. Distribution: Cosmopolitan. Habitat: marine.
