Holotype (unique): whereabouts unknown. •Synonym of Coregonus clupeaformis (Mitchill 1818) -- (Smith 1986:214 [ref. 22186], Scott & Crossman 1998:277 [ref. 24570]). Current status: Synonym of Coregonus clupeaformis (Mitchill 1818). Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
