Current status: Valid as Corydoras arcuatus Elwin 1938. Callichthyidae: Corydoradinae. Distribution: South America: middle Rio Juruá drainage (Brazil), Rio Javari drainage (Brazil / Peru) and streams north of Leticia (Colombia). Habitat: freshwater.
