taeniatus, Corydoras Stansch [K.] 1914:326, Fig. (p. 327) [Die exotischen Zierfische in Wort und Bild; ref. 19661] Amazon River. No types known. Not available according to Nijssen & Isbrücker 1979:133 [ref. 19254]. The species is named 'Corydoras taeniatus?" in the original description, which qualifies as a conditional proposal according to Art. 11.5.1 of ICZN; as it was published before 1961 it cannot be excluded on this account alone. The description includes several diagnostic characters, as well as an illustration; therefore the species name is here considered as available. Available according to Grant 2019:5 [ref. 37238]. •Synonym of Corydoras hastatus Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1888 -- (Grant 2019:6 [ref. 37238]). Current status: Synonym of Corydoras hastatus Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1888. Callichthyidae: Corydoradinae. Habitat: freshwater.
