Britski 1969:207 [ref. 12401] viewed Ellis' designation as an incorrect interpretation of a holotype, and he designated DZSASP 1984 as lectotype; spelled species as juquiae. •Synonym of Corydoras nattereri Steindachner 1876 -- (Nijssen & Isbrücker 1980:204 [ref. 6910], Isbrücker 2001:231 [ref. 26805], Reis in Reis et al. 2003:300 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:121 [ref. 29155]).
