Lectotype selected by Nijssen & Isbrücker 1980:197 [ref. 6910]; Myers use of holotype/paratype in 1935 not acceptable as lectotype designation; paralectotype is a juvenile of Corydoras trilineatus according to Nijssen & Isbrücker. Appeared in more detail in Myers 1935:10 [ref. 3109].
