Paratypes: CAS-SU 25452 (1 or 2); USNM 148882-83 (1, 1). •Valid as Coryphaenoides semiscaber Gilbert & Hubbs 1920 -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:201 [ref. 18936], Shcherbachev & Iwamoto 1995:302 [ref. 22071], Iwamoto 1999:1991 [ref. 24761]). Current status: Valid as Coryphaenoides semiscaber Gilbert & Hubbs 1920. Macrouridae. Distribution: Western Pacific. Habitat: marine.
