Lectotype established in Jordan 1896:244 [ref. 2395] if specimen is identifiable. •Synonym of Cottus beldingii Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1891 -- (Bailey & Bond 1963:1 [ref. 3934], Lee et al. 1980:806 [ref. 22416]). Current status: Synonym of Cottus beldingii Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1891. Cottidae. Habitat: freshwater.
