Original genus is correctly Crossocheilus. Spelled 2 ways originally, burmanicas (p. 324) and burmanicus (on p. 319); Kottelat serves as first reviser, selecting the spelling burmanicus and treating it as a specific name. Based mostly on Mukerji 1934:52.
