Based mostly on Mukerji 1934:52. Current status: Valid as Tariqilabeo burmanicus (Hora 1936). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: South Asia: Irrawaddy and Salween River (India and Myanmar). Habitat: freshwater.
