Also as Acanthurus ctnedon in Cuvier 1831:165 [ref. 30376], again without distinguishing features. •Synonym of Acanthurus striatus Quoy & Gaimard 1825 -- (Dor 1984:255 [ref. 29757]). •Synonym of Ctenochaetus striatus (Quoy & Gaimard 1825) -- (Bauchot & Randall 1996:56 [ref. 22195], Randall & Clements 2001:19 [ref. 25453], Golani & Fricke 2018:167 [ref. 36273], Randall 2022:232 [ref. 40150]). Current status: Synonym of Ctenochaetus striatus (Quoy & Gaimard 1825). Acanthuridae. Habitat: marine.
