Type catalog: Vilasri et al. 2018:64 [ref. 36451]. •Synonym of Rhinogobius mekongianus (Pellegrin & Fang 1940) -- (Rainboth 1996:208 [ref. 22772], Chen et al. 1999:20 [ref. 23908], Chen & Kottelat 2000:81 [ref. 24446], Kottelat 2001:157 [ref. 25780], Kottelat 2013:425 [ref. 32989], Suzuki et al. 2017:82 [ref. 35202], Vilasri et al. 2018:64 [ref. 36451]). Current status: Synonym of Rhinogobius mekongianus (Pellegrin & Fang 1940). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: freshwater.
