Type catalog: Bertin & Estève 1948:42 [ref. 19574]. •Synonym of Cyclocheilichthys iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927) -- (Mai 1978:91 [ref. 13511]). •Synonym of Acrossocheilus iridescens (Nichols & Pope 1927) -- (Kottelat 2001:17 [ref. 25482], Kottelat 2001:38 [ref. 25780]). •Valid as Acrossocheilus microstoma (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936) -- (Kottelat 2013:72 [ref. 32989], Yuan et al. 2015:161 [ref. 34103] as microstomus). Current status: Valid as Acrossocheilus microstoma (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936). Cyprinidae: Acrossocheilinae. Distribution: Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
