Holotype (unique): whereabouts unknown. •Valid as Cynoglossus waandersii (Bleeker 1854) -- (Roberts 1989:185 [ref. 6439] as waandersi, Kottelat et al. 1993:169 [ref. 23448], Munroe 2001:3895 [ref. 26314] as waandersi, Kottelat & Widjanarti 2005:169 [ref. 28284] as waandersi, Kottelat 2013:468 [ref. 32989], Fricke et al. 2017:85 [ref. 35160]). Current status: Valid as Cynoglossus waandersii (Bleeker 1854). Cynoglossidae: Cynoglossinae. Distribution: Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
