Original genus should have been spelled Cypselurus. •Synonym of Cheilopogon unicolor (Valenciennes 1847) -- (Fricke & Kulbicki 2006:322 [ref. 28867]). Current status: Synonym of Cheilopogon unicolor (Valenciennes 1847). Exocoetidae. Habitat: marine.
