Holotype (unique): BMNH 1887.12.7.217. •Questionably a synonym of Diaphus coeruleus (Klunzinger 1871) -- (Paxton 1979:7 [ref. 6440]). Current status: Uncertain as Diaphus coeruleus (Klunzinger 1871). Myctophidae: Diaphinae. Habitat: marine.
