Paratypes: MCZ 28664-65 (2, 3), 28668 (3), 102583 [ex MCZ 28667] (3). •Valid as Dicrolene nigra Garman 1899 -- (Pequeño 1989:48 [ref. 14125], Chirichigno F. & Vélez D. 1998:231 [ref. 24555], Nielsen & Cohen in Nielsen et al. 1999:62 [ref. 24448], Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:197 [ref. 28944], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:189 [ref. 30957]). Current status: Valid as Dicrolene nigra Garman 1899. Ophidiidae: Neobythitinae. Distribution: Southeastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
