Type catalog: Zarske 2003:26 [ref. 27474]. •Synonym of Epiplatys chaperi (Sauvage 1882) but a valid subspecies samborskii Neumann 2003 as described. •Valid as Epiplatys samborskii Neumann 2003 -- (Huber 2024:36 [ref. 41036]). Current status: Valid as Epiplatys samborskii Neumann 2003. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: West Africa: southern Ghana. Habitat: freshwater.
