Current status: Synonym of Eumicrotremus andriashevi Perminov 1936. Cyclopteridae: Eumicrotreminae. Distribution: Bering Sea (if valid). Habitat: marine.

N.] 1936:118 [Vestnik Dal'nevostocnogo Filiala Akademii Nauk SSSR = Bulletin of the Far Eastern Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR No. 19; ref. 22804] Bering Sea, 63°05'N, 171°47'W, southern of St. Lawrence Island, Alaska, U.S.A., depth 55-65 meters. Lectotype: ZIN 25378. Paralectotypes: ZIN 52862 (2) [ex ZIN 25378]; 70 specimens, Gulf of Anadyr, 65 m, 1 Aug. 1933, collected by K. Panin [lost?]. Described as a new forma but treated like a subspecies; regarded as available (Art. 45.6.4). Also appeared as Perminov in Taranetz 1937:126 [ref. 13384].
