Lectotype: ZIN 25378. Paralectotypes: ZIN 52862 (2) [ex ZIN 25378]; 70 specimens, Gulf of Anadyr, 65 m, 1 Aug. 1933, collected by K. Panin [lost?]. Described as a new forma but treated like a subspecies; regarded as available (Art. 45.6.4). Also appeared as Perminov in Taranetz 1937:126 [ref. 13384]. Lectotype: ZIN 22009. Paralectotypes: 10 adults: UW 42941 (1) [ex UBC 62-404, ex ZIN 22010], ZIN 12917 (2) 12919 (1), 18024 (1), 22009-10 (1, 3 now 2), 24253 (1), 25384 (1), 33673 (1); 6 juveniles: ZIN 12918 (2), 12920 (3), 12957 (1). Type catalog: Voskoboinikova & Orlovskaya 2020:32 [ref. 38114]. Described specimen regarded as holotype by Russian Academy of Sciences; technically it was designated the lectotype by Eschmeyer 1998:1518 [ref. 23416].
