B-D) [Report on Norwegian Fishery and Marine-Investigations. v. 11 (no. 5); ref. 12206] Eggvin Bank, off coast of Jan Mayen Island, 70°54'N, 12°50'W, depth about 30 meters. C.] in Müller 1776:ix [Zoologiae Danicae prodromus, seu animalium Daniae et Norvegiae indigenarum characteres, nomina, et synonyma imprimis popularium.; ref. 17808] Greenland. No types known. Authorship sometimes given as Müller 1776, but the description evidently is taken from Fabricius (see Jensen 1944:48-49 [ref. 13060]).
