Current status: Valid as Eviota bipunctata Greenfield & Jewett 2016. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Aldabra and Seychelles east to Ponape (Micronesia), north to Taiwan, south to Papua New Guinea and Northwest Cape (Western Australia). Habitat: marine.
