Current status: Valid as Garra bimaculacauda Thoni, Gurung & Mayden 2016. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: South Asia: Dangmechhu River drainage, Brahmaputra River basin, central and eastern Bhutan. Habitat: freshwater.
