Mai's spelling of this species was angulostoma (3 places). •Synonym of Garra caudofasciata (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936) -- (Kottelat 2001:24 [ref. 25482] wrongly as angulostomata on pp. 15, 24 and 81, Kottelat 2001:50 [ref. 25780] with question). •Synonym of Placocheilus caudofasciatus (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936) -- (Zheng et al. 2002:210 [ref. 27464], Kottelat 2013:142 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Garra caudofasciatus (Pellegrin & Chevey 1936). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
