Type catalog: Bauchot et al. 1991:37 [ref. 19958]. •Valid as Glossogobius obscuripinnis (Peters 1868) -- (Larson in Randall & Lim 2000:637 [ref. 25122], Kottelat 2013:408 [ref. 32989], Jamandre 2023:168 [ref. 40455], Parenti 2021:165 [ref. 38603], Endruweit 2024:203 [ref. 41040]). Current status: Valid as Glossogobius obscuripinnis (Peters 1868). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Philippines. Habitat: freshwater.
