Current status: Valid as Glyptophidium lucidum Smith & Radcliffe 1913. Ophidiidae: Neobythitinae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Indonesia east to Philippines and Papua New Guinea, north to Taiwan, south to northwestern Australia. Habitat: marine.
