Current status: Valid as Gobiesox eugrammus Briggs 1955. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern California (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of central Baja California (Mexico), including Guadalupe Island (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
