(1). •Valid as Helicolenus tristanensis Sivertsen 1945 -- (Eschmeyer 1969:99 [ref. 1274]). •Synonym of Helicolenus mouchezi (Sauvage 1875) -- (Eschmeyer & Hureau 1971:577 [ref. 21187]). Current status: Synonym of Helicolenus mouchezi (Sauvage 1875). Scorpaenidae: Sebastinae. Habitat: marine.
