Current status: Valid as Hippoglossina tetrophthalma (Gilbert 1890). Paralichthyidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast o central Baja California (Mexico) south to Peru, including Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
