Simultaneous subjectve synonymy of Pellona pristigasteroides; Whitehead et al. 1966:94 gave precedence to pristigasteroides. •Synonym of Ilisha pristigastroides (Bleeker 1852) -- (Whitehead 1985:275 [ref. 5141], Munroe et al. 1999:1765 [ref. 24728], Kottelat 2013:51 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Ilisha pristigastroides (Bleeker 1852). Pristigasteridae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
