Syntypes: MNHN 0000-1546 (3). Type catalog: Bertin & Estève 1950:22 [ref. 19575], Ferraris 2007:374 [ref. 29155]. Evidently appeared first in Günther 1864:44 [ref. 1974] as Cryptopterus bleekeri with a notation "Micronema bleekeri, Bocourt" but without a Bocourt citation. Subjectively invalid; secondarily preoccupied by and possibly a synonym of Kryptopterus bleekeri Günther 1864, but Günther's nominal species has different types. •Synonym of Micronema bleekeri (Günther 1964) -- (Kottelat 2001:128 [ref. 25780]). •Synonym of Kryptopterus bleekeri (Günther 1864). •Synonym of Phalacronotus bleekeri (Günther 1864) -- (Ferraris 2007:374 [ref. 29155], Kottelat 2013:236 [ref. 32989]). 2°Homonym.
