Apparently validated back to Kner 1860 by use as a valid name in the combination Fissilabrus dimidiatus by Smith 1949:291 [ref. 5846]. •Synonym of Labroides Bleeker 1851 -- (see Randall 1986:698 [ref. 5706], Parenti & Randall 2000:26 [ref. 24943]).
