Paratypes: CAS 24873 [ex SIO 69-14] (4); SIO H51-360 (2), H51-373 (5), H53-307 (16, now 11), H53-353 (4), 69-18 (1). [One or more of the above were to be deposited in, OSUO, and BCF Biol. Lab., Honolulu; plus USNM 205478 (6), 205483-84 (1, 6)]. •Valid as Nannobrachium fernae (Wisner 1971) -- (Zahuranec 2000:29 [ref. 24618], Love et al. 2005:45 [ref. 37547], Love et al. 2021:70 [ref. 39279]). •Valid as Lampanyctus fernae Wisner 1971 -- (Paxton 1979:14 [ref. 6440], Shinohara et al. 1994:75 [ref. 22800], Page et al. 2023:96 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Lampanyctus fernae Wisner 1971. Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Distribution: Northeastern Pacific: Oregon south to northern California (U.S.A.). Habitat: marine.
