Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:19 [ref. 12291], Menon and Rama-Rao 1970:378 [ref. 27516], Menon & Rama Rao 1971:343 [ref. 31198], Menon & Rama-Rao 1975:35 [ref. 22148] with only SU lot. Original as fraser-brunneri. •Synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906) -- (Paxton 1979:6 [ref. 6440], Hulley & Duhamel 2010:274, 275 [ref. 30745]). Current status: Synonym of Bolinichthys longipes (Brauer 1906). Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Habitat: marine.
