Holotype: USNM 64672. Paratypes: CAS-SU 13195-96 (1, 1), 13199-202 (4); USNM 64707-08 (1, 1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:14 [ref. 12291]. We date to Milner 1874. •Synonym of Coregonus nigripinnis (Hoy 1872), but an extinct valid subspecies -- (Lee et al. 1980:86 [ref. 22416]). •Synonym of Coregonus nigripinnis (Hoy 1872) -- (Scott & Crossman 1998:259 [ref. 24570]). Current status: Synonym of Coregonus nigripinnis (Milner 1874). Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
