Name is a noun in apposition. •Valid as Lobocheilos ixocheilos Kottelat & Tan 2008 -- (Tan & Kottelat 2009:40 [ref. 30261], Kottelat 2013:120 [ref. 32989], Iqbal et al. 2017:932 [ref. 35857], Ciccotto & Tan 2018:550 [ref. 35856]). Current status: Valid as Lobocheilos ixocheilos Kottelat & Tan 2008. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Batang Hari and Musi drainages, Sumatra and Kapuas drainage, Borneo. Habitat: freshwater.
