Smith. •Valid as Ventrifossa macronema (Smith & Radcliffe 1912) -- (Okamura in Okamura et al. 1982:155, 159 [ref. 8256]). •Valid as Nezumia macronema (Smith & Radcliffe 1912) -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:263 [ref. 18936]). •Valid as Kuronezumia macronema (Smith & Radcliffe 1912) -- (Shcherbachev et al. 1992:102 [ref. 20586], Iwamoto 1999:1992 [ref. 24761]). Current status: Valid as Kuronezumia macronema (Smith & Radcliffe 1912). Macrouridae. Distribution: Western Pacific. Habitat: marine.
