A substitute for Hemimarsupium according to Jordan 1919:272 [ref. 2410]; Dawson 1984:124 [ref. 5879] treats Hemimarsupium as a nomen nudum and in synonymy of Microphis (Coelonotus). Duncker 1912:229 [ref. 1156] wrongly says type is Microphis brachyurus Bleeker 1853 (not an originally-included species).
