Some paratypes are also types of Micropterus punctulatus wichitae. •Synonym of Micropterus punctulatus (Rafinesque 1819) -- (Hubbs & Bailey 1940:14 [ref. 12253]). •Synonym of Micropterus punctulatus (Rafinesque 1819), subspecies punctulatus -- (Gilbert 1998:247 [ref. 23395]). Current status: Synonym of Micropterus punctulatus (Rafinesque 1819). Centrarchidae: Lepominae. Habitat: freshwater.
