Paratypes: CAS 49382 (1). •Valid as Mystus olyroides Roberts 1989 -- (Kottelat et al. 1993:66 [ref. 23448], Burgess & Finley 1996:164 [ref. 22901], Jayaram & Sanyal 2003:91 [ref. 26894]). •Valid as Hemibagrus olyroides (Roberts 1989) -- (Mo 1991:132 [ref. 19952], Kottelat & Widjanarti 2005:159 [ref. 28284], Ng & Kottelat 2013:241 [ref. 32495], Kottelat 2013:259 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Hemibagrus olyroides (Roberts 1989). Bagridae. Distribution: Borneo. Habitat: freshwater.
