Original genus should have been Macrourus. •Synonym of Albatrossia pectoralis (Gilbert 1892) -- (Mecklenburg et al. 2002:272 [ref. 25968]). •Synonym of Coryphaenoides pectoralis (Gilbert 1892) -- (Iwamoto & Stein 1974:37 [ref. 7509], Burton & Lea 2019:49 [ref. 37205], Nakayama 2020:196 [ref. 37888]). Current status: Synonym of Coryphaenoides pectoralis (Gilbert 1892). Macrouridae. Habitat: marine.
