Original genus should have been Macrourus. •Synonym of Nezumia liolepis (Gilbert 1890) -- (Iwamoto 1979:157 [ref. 2311], Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:274 [ref. 18936]). Current status: Synonym of Nezumia liolepis (Gilbert 1890). Macrouridae. Habitat: marine.
