Syntypes: (6) BMNH 1934.12.19.29 [ex MOM] (2?), MOM 0091-1026 (4). Type catalog: Belloc 1949:17 [ref. 21544], Bailly et al. 1999:232 [ref. 24244] wrongly with a holotype. Original genus should have been Macrourus.
