Holotype: CAS-SU 68361. Paratypes: CAS-SU 6217 (2); USNM 135345 (1). •Valid as Nezumia ventralis Hubbs & Iwamoto 1979 -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:263 [ref. 18936], Iwamoto & Schneider in Fischer et al. 1995:1255 [ref. 22829], Iwamoto & McCosker 2001:27 [ref. 25777], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:189 [ref. 30957]). Current status: Valid as Nezumia ventralis Hubbs & Iwamoto 1979. Macrouridae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Galápagos Islands. Habitat: marine.
