Paratypes: BMNH [ex USNM 76885] (1), CAS-SU 22677 (3), ?CAS-SU 22695 (1, not found), USNM 76885 (3). •Probably a synonym of Notothenia brevicauda Lönnberg 1905 -- (Regan 1916:379 [ref. 40111]). •Probably a synonym of Patagonotothen brevicauda (Lönnberg 1905). Current status: Uncertain as Patagonotothen brevicauda (Lönnberg 1905). Nototheniidae: Nototheniinae. Habitat: marine.
