Type catalog: Gilbert 1978:43 [ref. 7042], Ibarra & Stewart 1987:60 [ref. 12367], Gilbert 1998:81 [ref. 23395]. Misspelled forionensis in Zoological Record. •Synonym of Notropis lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853) -- (Gilbert 1978:43 [ref. 7042]). •Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853) -- (Mayden 1989:50 [ref. 12555], Miller 2006:112 [ref. 28615]). •Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853), but a valid subspecies -- (Gilbert 1998:81 [ref. 23395], Scharpf 2005:13 [ref. 28940]). Current status: Synonym of Cyprinella lutrensis (Baird & Girard 1853). Leuciscidae: Pogonichthyinae. Habitat: freshwater.
