Current status: Valid as Ogilbia nudiceps Møller, Schwarzhans & Nielsen 2005. Dinematichthyidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: southern tip of Baja California Sur (Mexuci), and western and central Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
