Centropogon leucoprosopon Günther 1860:130 [ref. 1963] was an unjustified emendation, but that spelling was adopted by Bleeker himself (1876) and others; we suggest continuing the emended spelling if this species is found to be valid. •Questionably a synonym of Paracentropogon longispinis (Cuvier 1829) -- (Kottelat 2013:315 [ref. 32989]).
