Subjectively invalid; secondarily preoccupied by Acheilognathus imberbis Günther 1868, replaced by Paracheilognathus bleekeri Berg 1907. •Synonym of Acheilognathus chankaensis (Dybowski 1872) -- (Lin in Chen et al. 1998:434 [ref. 23878], Yang et al. 2010:336 [ref. 30786]). 2°Homonym.
