Possibly restricted to China, Taiwan and Japan. Habitat: brackish, marine.

parvus, Paradiplogrammus Nakabo [T.] 1984:150, Figs. 1-4 [Japanese Journal of Ichthyology v. 31 (no. 2); ref. 5343] North of Clack Reef, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia, 14°03'S, 144°15'E, depth 1.5-7.5 meters. Holotype: QM I.17256 [ex QM I.15432]. Paratypes: CAS 46879 (1), 50730 (6); QM I.15432 (3), I.17255 (1); URM-P 5195 (1). May use Paradiplogrammus or Callionymus; authors differ. •Valid as Paradiplogrammus parvus Nakabo 1984 -- (Nakabo in Masuda et al. 1984:344 [ref. 6441], Nakabo 2000:1133 [ref. 25182], Nakabo 2002:1133 [ref. 26193]). •Synonym of Callionymus enneactis Bleeker 1879 -- (Fricke 2002:19 [ref. 26547]). •Synonym of Paradiplogrammus enneactis (Bleeker 1879) -- (Hoese & Bray 2006:1586 [ref. 29000]). •Valid as Callionymus parvus (Nakabo 1984) -- (Allen & Adrim 2003:56 [ref. 26830], Okamoto in Motomura et al. 2021:66 [ref. 38121]). Current status: Valid as Callionymus parvus (Nakabo 1984). Callionymidae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Malaysia and Indonesia, north to Japan, south to northern Australia. Habitat: brackish, marine.
